What does it really mean to worship? Why do we even bother with worship? Is it about singing? We don't really have an accurate view today of what the Bible truly says worship should be like, nor do we grasp how it plays out in our view of eternity.
There is a worthy need that exists... Who will fill it? The need is for people to receive a rescuing hope, and everyone can help fill that need. So how do we have the same response as Isaiah, "Here I am Lord. Send me!" even when we don't know what we're stepping into.
Short answer: Heck no! Christian or not we all still live in this fallen world within these fallen bodies that are subjected to hardship, trials, and even suffering. Our response needs to be diligent perseverance and a dependence on Christ. (Sorry for the poor sound quality!)
The world tells us that we can be whatever we want to be and do whatever we want to do. Everything seems centered today around the word "I", but is that really all it takes? Or does life require more than just my own efforts?
Every year, students (and MTV) flock to Panama City Beach for Spring Break. Rome was once the capital of the world. Now filled with students who have never had the opportunity to hear about a personal relationship with God. Find out what happened when students from The Dive travelled to Rome and Panama City to see what students thought about God and spirituality.
Welcome to the second annual Dive Alumni Night where our past graduates have a chance to come back and see the legacy they've left behind. We also welcome Ryan Tate as he talks about what it looks like to live for Christ after you graduate.
What does it mean to live a life set apart from the world? Mike Love addresses this question as he takes a look at what it means to be holy (with only one 'l').
While remaining the best selling book of all time, the Bible is also the most criticized for it's accuracy. Can we be sure of the truth it holds? If we can, how does that change out lives? Guest speaker Joel Hughes looks to answer these questions and stress the importance Scripture holds in our lives.
Every year we must say farewell to our graduating seniors and send them out into the "real world." Listen as Scott Sommer gives them one final charge about what it means to be a Christian in the workplace.
