Spring Break
Every year thousands of college students flock to the beach for a week without the worries and trials of
classes. It seems only logical, then, for us to plan a week of fun and debauchery too. (Well... maybe not
so much “debauchery” because we do have standards, but trust us,
it will be a week you won’t soon forget!)
Big Break
Each year Campus Crusade holds a conference in Panama City, Florida right in the heart of Spring Break.
Not only will you get to enjoy the sun, beach, and waves, but you’ll also get the chance to hear
from an awesome guest speaker as well as spend time with other students from around the country –
both with Big Break and not. That’s not to mention the road trip from Kent to Panama City where,
each year, hilarity inevitably ensues.
Rome
How would you like to spend a week in Rome? (Italy, that is, not Rome, Ohio!) For the last two years,
we’ve had the opportunity to send a team of students and staff overseas to the heart of ancient
civilization as a part of our partnership with Crusade’s ministry there known as
Agape Italia. You’ll get to see ruins and art predating anything in the
US as well as spend some time each day on some of the world’s largest universities, interacting with
students from a different culture and life style. Just imagine sitting on the greens of
La Sapienza talking to students your own age about what Roman life is like and
what it means to have a relationship with God. In a culture that generally perceives the church as a
governing authority with a bunch of rules, it’s a unique experience to help share with them that
there’s more to the Christian faith.
You’ll even get the chance to team up with other American students also there on Spring Break as well
as Crusade’s Agape Italia ministry and Rome STINT Team which includes The
Dive’s own Jenny Clouse and
Kerry Vana!
