Summer Projects
How would you like to spend the summer by the beach, in the city, or even overseas? What about getting to
know other students from around the country and the world? Summer Projects are the place to do all these
things and much more!
While each project has its own uniqueness, they’re generally broken down into two groups:
Stateside and International. Keep reading and
you’ll find more information on each type.
Stateside Projects
On a Stateside Project, you’ll have the opportunity to spend up to ten weeks in Virginia Beach, inner
city Chicago, Crusade’s World Headquarters in Orlando, or many other locations. Each Stateside Project
focuses on two things: growing in your faith while living in a unique community of other believers and learning
how to best share your faith throughout your daily life. On most Stateside Projects, you’ll also get
the chance to find a job in the community, so if you or your parents are worried about saving money for the
next year, it’s no problem!
International Projects
International Projects have a slightly different flavor to them. For one, you’ll be out of the country
and living in a different culture where even language might be an issue to overcome. Still, you’ll have
the chance to learn how to share your faith as well as create a community of believers from around the world.
You could spend the summer in Rome amongst ruins dating back to Biblical times, in Canada for the
Northwoods Project
truly embracing the meaning of Biblical manhood through the outdoors and nature (sorry, ladies, this ones
for guys only), or many other places on almost every continent.
